Music

As with games online, music is far too vast to begin to link to all the services offered.

I’ve mentioned iTunes in the post about podcasts, but there are more places to download and store your music. Rhapsody is one. Pandora is another. And the list goes on and on!

Recently the idea that musicians can sell music directly to their fans has been put into use. If you search for your favorites you will find their sites and information about how to get the music you like.

Music Map is a place where you can put in the names of your favorite musicians and find others of similar style.

Another great way to find good music is to read blogs that review music.

MySpace is well known for having artist sites that promote all kinds of music. Many people only have MySpace account so they can find out about new music and get information about music they already enjoy. If a very new artist doesn’t have a web page of his or her own, she or she probably has a MySpace account with samples.

If you search for your favorites on YouTube you will probably come across a video performance too.

Have fun and get speakers or headphones!
