Politics and Religion and Philosophy
If your local politicians do not have websites they are behind the game in reaching their constituents.
If your religion or philosophy is not represented online, it would kind of surprising.
Words of caution about these things:
Just because someone believes the same thing you do does not mean they go about expressing their beliefs the same way you do. Do not expect that.
Some people are offended easily by politics and religion and philosophy. Enormous discussions are had about such things. Even bigger fights are had. It is just like in the real world. It would be naive to assume you can go into a discussion to change someone’s beliefs. Be warned and be wary jsut as you are in real life.
Many people do go about trying to convert others to a political party or point of view. If you choose to take offense that is a choice. You can engage in an argument or you can choose to walk away from it. Just understand, if someone seems over zealous, then they will not likely give up the fight and you may have to deal with the issue longer than you would like.
“Don’t take the bait.” Is a good rule of thumb.
Only ask questions if you feel it will lead to your getting answers. This is important because if you supply your email address to a site they can use it to send you things and you may not want their newsletters or pleas for money.
HOWEVER! If you want to learn something about a viewpoint read as much as you can! The web is the best place to learn about things at a distance and safely. You have your own mind. Use it.
