I know when I first started exploring online the first thing I needed to find out about was security and pop up blockers. Almost at once my computer got a virus and I was lost for a while. So check that out if you need to.

But most of all, keep exploring! Stop the game from time to time and search for something. Virtually every product in your home has a web page associated with it. A neat way to begin getting out of your shell is to go to those sites.

Another great way to explore is to use a search engine. Type in a term that interests you and then read the lists. Click on things. Understand that people pay to have their web sites come up in a certain order when certain terms are searched. So the first might not be the best. Look further down as well.
